There was a silly boy from the ‘Land of Wonder’,
His name was Patch ‘The Blunder’.
All the while he wanted to hit a six,
However, the match was always a fix.
One day he was playing a match,
A player dropped his catch.
“My first six,” he shouted,
“But the ball was slow,” everyone doubted.
In the changing room, he lit a match ,
And started God’s worship from a scratch.
“My first six,”again he shouted,
A tulsi plant, he sprouted.
After 40 years, in an ODI match, the last of his career,
He again became a worrier.
He thought “Will I ever be able to hit my second six?”
In the second ball of the second over, he hit his second six,
But afterwards, he got to know that the match was again a fix
I know that you would never forget this poetic limerick,
Now just wait for my next flick.
